To All Who Read This
Allow me to get mushy for a second.
More than usual, I miss my mom today. Not sure what brought it on, and I don't think it matters.
What I do know is that I'd love to call my mom and talk to her today. Tell her about all the magazine stuff going on, the new website Rick is working on, how Riley is almost standing on her own...the list goes on.
So, I am taking it upon myself to proclaim tomorrow "Realize How Important Your Parents Are" day. In fact, every June 25th from here on out will be known as such. Call them, think about them, send them an email. Whatever you do, just make sure you take a second to appreciate what you have or even what you had.
If you're a fellow blogger, spread the word - but not until you call your parents.
